Happy New Year (2017)!

2016 certainly did not end the way I thought it would, but I think a lot of what I am expecting is still on the way. In fact, it doesn't feel like it's over yet (in a good way). As strange as it sounds, I'm thinking of 2016 right now as a rough draft that with a few edits can still turn out to have been a pretty good year. So I enter 2017 hopeful, expectant, and unfazed by some temporary setbacks. Happy 2017 to all of you!
